Indoor Air Quality is an important factor of a healthy indoor environment. A healthy learning environment reduces the exposure to airborne viruses, contaminant, and allergens, reduces absenteeism, and increases the productivity and performance for students and staff alike.
These are all factors which support the ultimate goal of educating our state’s youth and improving student learning outcomes.
This site provides resources, guidance, training and a technical assistance helpdesk for Washington state K12 schools to help answer questions, resolve issues and to improve the indoor environment in our schools.
Access these resources using the menu buttons on the right-hand side of the page. Questions can be directed to: K12support@smartbuildingscenter.org.
The K12 Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Helpdesk is funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce.
