SBX Day 2 Opening Plenary: Innovations for an Electrified & Decarbonized Future

August 13, 2024 By SBC staff

Join us virtually for the Smart Buildings Exchange (SBX) 2024 Day 2 Opening Plenary: Innovations for an Electrified & Decarbonized Future on August 28th from 9:00 – 10:15 am PT.

2030 always seemed so far away. Not anymore. The pressure to meet energy and carbon performance targets is real and pressing. Are we innovating far enough and fast enough to ensure that these goals are met? This high-powered panel discussion will look at where we are with the pace of innovation – technology, construction, finance, and policy – and what more we need to do to go further faster. Poppy Storm (2050 Institute) will moderate the discussion between Allen Preger (Building Ventures), Celeste Tell (Epicycled), Lucas Toffoli (RMI), and Steve Ruby (McKinstry).
